At Grace Methodist, we want every child to feel loved and comfortable when they come to church. Our heart is to help kids learn about Jesus in a way they can understand and actually enjoy.
Sunday Mornings
Sunday mornings are a central part of our children’s ministry. During the church service, we have Sunday School where kids hear Bible stories and talk through what they mean in a way that is appropriate for their age.
We keep things hands on so they stay engaged. Each week looks a little different, sometimes we’ll use an object lesson, other times we’ll do an activity or a craft. It just depends on the lesson, but the goal is always the same: helping the Bible lesson stick and making sure kids enjoy being there.
Nursery Care
We also offer nursery during Sunday service for our youngest children. It’s a calm, safe space where they are cared for and can just be little.
Wednesday Nights
On Wednesday nights from 5:45–7:00 PM, we meet at Shook’s Chapel. It’s a more relaxed setting where kids can unwind a bit. We’ll have a snack, spend some time playing, and then come together for a Bible lesson. Each week we also work on memorizing a Bible verse to help the kids build their faith and give them something they can carry with them.
