The Grace Methodist REFUGE Youth Ministry is a place where students in grades 6th-12th can gather weekly on Wednesday nights from 6pm-7:30pm. Our main purpose is to minister to students, speak life into them, provide a refuge away from the stress and worries of everyday life. We strive to edify our students to become not just Christians, but rather faithful disciples of Jesus Christ who have a firm belief and understanding of the gospel, and let the fruit of the Spirit pour out of their lives. We believe in the importance and necessity of prayer, worship, and fellowship.
Our students are the next generation of our church and we want them to be included and know how to lead, so we offer them many opportunities to lead in ministry. REFUGE Youth has a student worship team that is always accepting new members. Students can help serve on Sunday mornings and various ways. Occasionally students are able to give a message that the Lord has put on their heart on Wednesday nights.
Our team of volunteers are Ministry Safe Certified and have a heart for the future generations. We want students to feel like this is not just a “churchy” thing to be a part of but a gathering of friends and family who support each other.
